I would probably not consider a M135i. I had a late 335i with the same engine and although it sounded good it didn't impress me that much.

Invested in a pair of genuine VW front rubber mats. Rarely ever have anyone in the back so didn't bother with those. Only around £55 delivered which seemed reasonable.

I keep my VW front rubber mats in the car all year round as I don’t find the durability of VW’s carpet mats to be very good. I also rarely carry back seat passengers, so didn’t bother with rubber mats in the rear.

Quality rubber floor mats are the way to go.
However on a 3 door which rarely carries a rear passenger, I have unused matching rubber mats in the rear, as the mismatch would drive me nuts!
