Yeah, that looks ridiculously expensive for something that looks like its been 3D printed at home. I have a 3D printer and I reckon knocking something like that up wasn't that hard! Not for, what, 90 quid after shipping? Christ

I don’t have a 3d printer or even know where to start but if it would nice to have an option in the UK. Unfortunately it was even dearer than that with the poor GBP/USD rate at the minute  :embarrassed:

Maybe I'll give it a go at some point. It is something I actually considered back when I first got my car 4 years ago, and it would be nice. It's the only thing I really use that cubby for, and I'd plug my phone in a lot more if I didn't have to faff with the cable. An advanced version that also allowed proper, full speed charging would be nice as well.

I'd love to know where £86 + VAT (no import duty, it's under £135) plus minimal shipping is "not far" from £150 for the genuine item plus a wireless AA adapter.
