Prepared the GTI for its second MOT tomorrow. Whilst it should obviously pass, the time of year always makes me nervous.  ;D

Passed its 2nd MOT with flying colours - they actually said it’s one of the cleanest 4 year old GTI’s they have ever seen  :D

Gave the leather a clean today as the gearknob was getting shiny and so were the seats so back to factory they go:

Also hit a pheasant whilst going to get a vegetable for dinner, broken honeycomb and lower grill so I think it's time to price up a full set of trims to gloss black them. (Yes, I did have to show mercy to the pheasant)

Does it still mean I'm part of the gentry if i'm pulling abs plastic out of it and not buck shot?  :embarrassed:

Watts, I was passing back through that way just a couple evenings ago. I’d been a little further west.

Sootchucker, no surprises there with the techie’s analysis of your car!

Will, when you say you went to get “a vegetable” was it a very big vegetable or were you one carrot short? I mean the latter wouldn’t surprise me as I know how anal you detailer are

I hope the honeycomb isn’t too expensive.

I love it down there, Exonian. We've stayed in Sennen a couple of times, beautiful part of the world. We've stayed where we are this time as we are visiting places in this part, Bodmin Jail today and Padstow, Lanhydrock tomorrow and around Fowey on Wednesday.

Sennen used to be quite literally home from home for me a few years ago.

Have a smashing time Watts, the forecast looks good too
