@madstaff, that’s interesting, thanks for posting- particularly as it vindicates my decision to defer my vaq service to next year- as mine has only 22k on the clock

Will that affect the warranty? I have an extended warranty and only 11k mileage at present.

I had my car remapped today , very happy with the results , next thing to look at is a new clutch . Any recommendations for a upgraded clutch .

260bhp standard is quite good going considering it's advertised 245bhp, happens a lot with BMW's didn't expect the same from VW

Yeah , fair point. All I can say is the car pulled so much better in 3rd 4th & 5th. The road back from the garage  is the perfect place for trying out the acceleration from the new remap .

Not been at much as I've been busy writing a paper, selling, inspecting & ceramic coating cars and everything in between but finally broke after not washing the car for 4 weeks, and gave it a maintenance wash also took out my rubber weathertechs and put in the TCR/clubsport red edged mats because we're into the good weather again.

Sorry for late response , just seen this.

It’s not part of the official service schedule so can’t see how it would affect the warranty
