Nice E30, it has the appearance of a Sport Evo, is it a real one?

(as in a modified/upgraded E30 M3)

It is a real one, my father has owned it since the 90's (2nd owner). The LHD is a fun experience to say the least

Nice, I have driven a few of these. the 2.5L makes a difference... I have Lhd Pork, so actually enjoy it as an "event" or "weekend" car.

Nice note out of it for a 4 cylinder as well, but then again there's a carbon plenum on it as well.

What generation of sausage do you have? The LHD definitely helps keep the 'event' of the car, makes you realise how close to the hedges you are as well.

It's a 1995, as it's fairly narrow bodied, I tend to drive to the nearside kerb and that keeps the car well inside the line marking the middle of the road, (if that makes sense).

My actual car was used for this, feel free to have a virtual drive! :)

Ah i love the 993 it has such great body lines it's really set off by the factory dished alloys. I actually did a bit of leather restoration and detailing on one not long ago (can't remember the paint colour name it was the blue silver) with blue interior, truly a timeless design inside and out.

So yesterday I swapped the wife’s Mercedes for a Mk7.5 Golf, the lad has passed his driving test at last! 12 months delay due to lockdown.

We needed something with a smaller engine to get him insured on, so It’s only a GT 1.5 TSi, however its nicely loaded with kit. It’s an Estate, with Pano roof, dynaudio, factory fitted swing tow bar (very cool), Discovery nav Pro 9.2, climate windscreen, reverse camera, upgraded 18” alloys, LED headlights with dynamic curve, lane assist, high beam assist and the winter pack.

It’s a very nice vehicle, just without the poke of our GTI. With the tow bar we are going to carry our bikes on the back rather than the roof, so that should be very easy and handy. The estate will be a very useful load carrier with the lad starting University this year.

The 1.5 TSI is a perky little engine too. Just what a young lad needs, along with Dynaudio!!
