Upgraded to the facelift 8 inch display, fairly easy to change with the correct tools. Looks superb, really happy with the results and love the look of the facelift screen with the Clubsport interior. Next the ambient lights in the upper door trim.

Any photos?

Finally got round to figuring out how to post images.

Really happy with the upgrade, the screen is so much better than the pre facelift.

Member RWLEIGH takes the credit for this idea, it was his post that inspired me to do this change. Bought the unit and trim off eBay for £270, there are loads of units for sale and you can get the trim from VW for approx £130. Shame the trim only matches the pre FL R & Clubsport.

Picked this AWE Touring exhaust up last week to start the process of subtly modifying my Clubsport but I will write a separate post on that.

(yesterday) stripped all the trims from the boot lid to get to the source of the leak in the boot. Took off and replaced the drain tube from the rear badge to the bottom of the boot lid with a new one (but the old one looked perfect). So then applied some black silicon sealant around the edges of the two rubber boots carrying the cables into the boot lid as best I could (difficult to get round the back of them), even though they have never been off ?

I'll just have to wait and see if this has stopped water getting into the boot lid behind the plastic trims (fingers crossed). Again, as before the foot floor under the spare wheel and carpet was bone dry again. Weird that it's been perfect for 2 and a bit years and then just started for the first time about a month ago. No work done at all to the boot other than opening and closing it ?

Haven't you seen that mod before? The Omega body kit for the Mk7 is all the rage with the tuner kids.
