A few incidents lately dented my love for this car. I even seriously considered changing it last week. A deal was on the table and I was tempted.

But I saw some sense! Got it serviced and spent a few hours cleaning it  Saved myself thousands!!

What few incidents, I read about the tw*t that damaged your bumper but what else?

Yep, the bumper incident.
No sooner I had that fixed, the mirror caps were stolen while the car was parked on driveway overnight.

Nope unfortunately. I've been doing a bit of research on that since. I'm also getting some PIR security lights installed which I reckon should be as effective a deterrent as cameras. The cops told me that more often than not the footage from cctv is a bit useless, but are a good deterrent I guess

Fitted my ST suspension RARB, 034 Motorsport engine mounts, turbo muffler delete and took the centre resonator out all in one day over the bank holiday weekend, big improvement!

Next up is crappy Bridgestones delete

Yeah a big PIR would help.

Polished my car and sealed it with tough coat, also been chatting to a Australian Vw forum to help get traffic jam assist coding a bit closer to being sorted (I hope)

Also worked out exactly what traffic jam assist does

A good result with Chipex paint kit today - not perfect, but good - someone scuffed the driver door a few weeks back

I did a pit stop at the reims old pits

Have to say the R Wagon has been faultless over the last 10 tens in France, just a sublime mile eater which is slightly under the radar and ideal for the toll booth grand prix, I think its an ideal daily but does lack a bit of excitement and occasion

I have not seen another Golf R in ten days (the first was the wife's) which is a refreshing change
