Yeah at least the damage is confined to the bumper. No metal panels touched nor the wheel or light unit thankfully. So it is a simple repair. I've been quoted around 250 quid to get it done. Could be worse, but still an outlay I hadn't prepared for!

Feel for you Joe hope you get it sorted at a reasonable cost.

Took all the wheels off today.

1. Bilt Hamber auto wheel
2. Rinse
3. Wheels Woolies with auto finnese shampoo.
4. Dried them off.
5. Platinum Wheels from Carbon Collective.
6. Microfibre buff off.
7. Same for the calipers

Results are awesome.

Jim, Photobucket aren't allowing free third party image hosting any more, unless you upgrade your Photobucket account and pay them the upgrade fee of US$399.

I'm now using Postimage (www.postimages.org) as are some of the other forum members who are no longer using Photobucket.

Bought a new dash-cam - Nextbase 412 GW

Halford had a deal, and were cheaper than Amazon - £129 down to £103

Will likely swap out the existing camera (Blackvue) and put the Blackvue in our new A4 Avant

If you want your pics to appear at full size when using postimage, choose the 'hotlink for forums' option to copy and paste into your post, rather than the thumbnail option as you have.  That way we can see the results of your hard work in even greater glory!  :smiley:
