Found mine and it's 148. I've even found all the workings out I did before purchase and that even says 130 quid. My car was registered in December last year so according to everything it's now 150 to tax yet if it had been registered in November it would be 130 of 140. No difference at all between mine and any other car registered after September so wtf!!!
The dealer only paid 70 odd quid for six months so unless the prices have gone up for old cars which I didn't think they had then something's wrong somewhere.
My renewal came through and clearly printed was £130 Gti non PP but once I entered the no to tax it suprise suprise it too jumped to £135 they got you by the danglies at the end of the day

The new rates, for cars registered between 1 March 2001 and 31 March 2017, are shown here. As said, the government hand has a firm grasp of your privates.
