Took mine in to get rumbling/droning/humming noise sorted. Turns out front offside wheel bearing was buggered. Haven't tested it properly yet but all sounds good initially.

Glad it's sorted. However on a brand new car that's pretty poor.
Any explanation how it occurred? Faulty from the factory I take it?

Was just about to say the same thing.
At least it wasn't one of those nigh on impossible to track down faults but in effect quite a serious fault for a young car.

I suppose any component can fail at any time but I'm just glad it could be heard with the tech in the car as normally any noise magically disappears haha.

Looked at it. Absolutely filthy. Does the rain ever stop to wash it?

Oh No!!

I filled up two weeks ago and still well over quarter of a tank.

I'm gonna take the 6 for a quick blast before to try and use fuel.

Good Luck for today, hope nothing untoward happens.

Good luck to the pair of you on your collections today and don't rush the inspection, and any thing (any thing at all) you are not happy with or not sure of, point it out to the dealer.

Better to spend a few hours now, than regret it for a couple of years later !

Any component can be buggered at the point of fitment, QA is all about the probability of x% of conponents being made properly if you're not going to test them all (impractical). If 99.95% of any given part are ok then that level of assurance is fine for most manufacturers. If you're the 20000th customer with a bust component it's of little comfort though!

Most component failures happen early on as a result of underected manufacturing faults. Most will claim more in the 1st year of warranty than years 2 and 3 for this reason.
Whey ya bugger! It's finally arrived after an 8 month wait....
