Yeah got the new gti on 19th but it went straight to get detailed on the day I got it and only got it back on Thursday before Christmas. It's currently got 180 miles on it but I'm loving it so far.

Is the link above definitely for a right hand drive model? Is it easy to fit?

That looks to be the same link as the one I bought from, (which is definitely RHD) as detailed in the thread below along with some fitting guidance. Very easy job.

Sometimes the lugs on the Aliexpress one need a little plastic shaving off with a knife , but I know someone who bought and fitted theirs from this link who didn't need to do this, so it's possible they've resolved the issue.  Perhaps cosmos can confirm?

Or as I did, just keep thumping it until it accepts who is boss. But I can't wholeheartedly recommend this approach.

Mine just popped on with no modification. THE most essential mod for our cars. Makes it look complete, down there, if you know what I mean!

Lol, I know what you mean.

Think they must have slightly altered the lugs now, which is good news.  A few have fitted it and broken them off, probably thumping it, kalimon style.
