Fitted 4 new Goodyear Eagle F1 3's to my GTi. Had plenty of meat left on the front but couldn't take anymore of those Tombstones so got rid. Only driven 100 miles or so but the difference is already massive. No tramping, very low road noise nicer turn in. One bad thing is that my buddy who was fitting the tyres with the utmost of care caused minor damage to one of my Austins. Very small on the edge of the rim. Wet sanded it down and then applied 3 coats of lacquer. Will monitor closely for the dreaded white worm. Car is 3 years old and that is literally the first mark on the car. Might have to refit my Rotary anthracite wheels sooner than planned if my OCD takes over

Yeah, they are very nice plates.  Look particularly good on your white GTI.

Nice surprise from the fleet management company - all 4 Continental tyres were needing replaced, and half expected them to go for a budget brand

4 new Michelin Pilot Sport 4 fitted to the summer wheels :)
Golf Mk8 R order cancelled...awaiting company car instead
Tiguan 1.5 Elegance for the wife & dogs
Skoda 1.5 SEL cheap lease special

Must have all been illegal tread depth and the PS4's being the only tyres in stock at the tyre place you had to go to....

That's about the only way I ever get a blinding result (or if I persuade my friendly centre manager to tell the lease company they only have Michelin's on the shelf ;-) )

Mobile fitting service - logged the request last week, so they had plenty time if needed to come up with cheaper stock

Looks good.  The passenger side footwell loom is ridiculously short.  I remember swearing a lot when I did mine.
