I removed all the dirt from mine today too, thankfully no bird incidents for me.

Very nice and devoid of the hated bird poo.

I have met its younger twin brother. Turned up at work this morning and someone has purchased a 16 Plate CSG GTi in 5 doors. Must have really liked the look of my car in the car park 

Unfortunately the newer car looks like its been buffed to within an inch of its life and my car now looks filthy in comparison despite only being a week dirty!

I've taken mine in to have the facia surrounding the touch screen replaced.
It had a tiny blemish on it when I picked it up from the dealer and I'm kinda wishing I hadn't bothered now.
It will take a couple of hours to change so I am in an 'Up' for the afternoon
The facia and center air vents are all one so I'm a bit concerned about more damage being done.
I should have just put up with the blemish in hindsight

1st service from Specialist Cars VW in Aberdeen, who did exactly what was asked, and finished it 3 hours earlier than anticipated (mind you, with no washing or hoovering it, thats to be expected )

I picked up the replacement(while my CC is in for repairs) Golf R last Friday and after a weekend and over 300 miles I have decided to get one. I have submitted the spec that I want and I'm waiting to find what offers I get before I go to the dealer I have the GTD ordered with to see if they can match it or even better it.

I'm looking at two ways of getting the car, PCP and then paying the car off in full a few days after getting it so that I can get the added discount from VW or failing that leasing it for the no fuss just buy and pay for fuel way.

I am going for a what I would call a top spec except for leather and a few cosmetic bits but decided to go for the sunroof rather than the 19" wheels because I have a set of Pretoria wheels I got last December just waiting for the Cup 2 tyres that I have on the CC at the minute.

I know that I will possibly get shunned for getting an estate but it is something we need/want.

Stevie, Flickr is a right faff for posting on forums and quite why they won't give access to the BBCode from the mobile site or the App is beyond me!!! Very frustrating it is.  But I hate Photobucket layout even more so Flickr it is for me.

Thanks Bec. I'll give it another go as I definitely prefer the layout of it. Although I don't even use photobucket for anything other than hosting pictures here.

Car's in the dealer - dread!  I have fingers and toes crossed for it's safe and unharmed return to you.
