Double darn!

Good point. Actually I think a Tardis sized can of Tardis might be a wise investment.

No doubt certain people's cars are so well waxed and presented tar won't even stick to the paint in the first place! Naming no names of course...

If you can't hack the big boy can, there's the toddler version.

I like black as a car colour but there is nothing more rewarding than thinking the white car you have washed is fairly tar free and then spray some tardis on it and seeing on those brown steaks run down the car.
You don't get to see this on a black car.

There has to be some redeeming feature to having a white car.

You can't see Iron X working on a black car either, but you believe it when you see your driveway turning a lovely shade of purple  accompanied by that delicious scent of rotting eggs.  What's not to like.

I'm not to sure now after looking at the pictures again, they are a bit misleading.

I'll find out when mine turn up and,I'll let you know.

Hi Garhan

Any idea why the R sill protectors are listed only a 6 piece set instead of the usual 8 piece.  The little lower strips for the rears are not included?  Did Lockwood say why?  I'm going to phone them Monday to check they are silver but will ask that too.  Just wondered if you knew?

Fitted the pedal box today. My throttle pedal has been shaken from its lazy slumber.  What a transformation it is.!!!  It honestly feels like the car has awoken from a 5 month nap. Why is it not like this from the factory???  Tried a few settings and have settled on setting Sport +1 for now.

Anyway, armed with lots of fitting tips from fellow forum members and quite a few views of the DTUK fitting video https://youtu.be/EabRvM_-iIE the installation went smoothly, took about 15 mins.

Having heard a few horror stories about the very tight tolerances of some of the connectors and the risk of the grey clip breaking rendering it unremovable, As a precaution I decided to do the install in a slightly different order to the official video just in case it all went pear-shaped then I wouldn’t be left with a half install and an immobilised car.  I took my time and it all went according to plan thankfully.

Here’s the obligatory installation pics - managed to take a few along the way and detail which I've posted in Vidman's DTUK Pedal Box install thread-
