Well you could clay, the polish and then IPA/ panel wipe, to get any remaining polish residue off, or clay, polish then vinegar/newspaper suggestion.  Don't see much point in polishing then claying.  In fact I don't think I'd bother with the polishing at all.  Not much to be gained by light hand polish and you're just adding a product on that you'll the need to ensure is completely cleaned off.

I've tried the white vinegar with newspaper traditional method when I had big problems 2 years back, but it didn't resolve them at all.  New wipers did, but you've already tried that, so nothing to lose.

I've still got a brand new set of Bosch aerotwins for sale if anyone wants them. Boxed unopened brand new and no good to me as they don't fit the tiguan.

Removed my mods. My car is due its first service in 2 weeks so I have taken today as an opportunity to restore my car to stick with the exception on the tuning box.

Exhaust flaps closed, intake removed and sound actuator back in......it sounds so boring :(

You should sell them on VWROC, they are falling over themselves to get Aerotwins on there :-)

I've had my steering wheel changed today, for the correct one this time

I got change to make real use of the adaptive headlights on the way home last night, they are truly amazing. I love this car a little more each day.

My car had a stop-start error today. Twice stop start failed to kick in and didn't come up with the usual symbol that tells you it is unavailable (when maybe the car isn't warm and you've got the heating on, using aircon etc.). On the second time I pressed the stop start button to disable then re-enable and the MFD declared a fault with it.

Drove to Argos to pick something up and on the next ignition cycle stop-start was back.
Whey ya bugger! It's finally arrived after an 8 month wait....
