Thanks guys! I truly appreciate your kind welcome and comments. The colour is called Platinum Metallic Grey and just three of them were sold in my city. This paint is no longer available as far as I know.

I'll keep you posted about the car, I'm looking also for a couple of extra mods (PP brakes or BBK), but everything is pricey due to the exchange rate USD-COP.

Another photo, when I get home I'll share with you more. This one was taken during an event, getting side by side first gen cars with their new counterparts.

I don't personally have VCDS, but know a man who does, not too far from me.

I'm sure the car will be at Pulman for my other warranty stuff (ACC sensor and replacement rubber trunking protecting the wiring looms between the body and the bootlid) stuff early next week. Between then and now perhaps i'll have some other EPC incidences.

You should get yourself a little obd app for your car, I have torque pro for android. It would be able to scan and tell you for a fraction of the price of a real vcds and when I had my fault it had an overboost fault recorded. Hope there is nothing wrong with your turbo obviously MH sounds like you have had enough gremlins with the car as it is!

You were the man I was talking about. The car's in at Pulman on Monday night (thanks to a cancellation on a courtesy car which means I can get it - hope it isn't the Fabia again).
