Nosy neighbours are no excuse for a lack of pics  Car love soon eclipses the 'what will the neighbours think' attitude

I will take a couple early in the morning if I remember Booth it's light up here at around 4:10am just now.

Diehammer, if the neighbours see you taking photos of your car at 4:10 in the morning, they really will think you've lost the plot   In all seriousness, a great time for photography, just after sunrise

Parked up in a public car park this evening (whilst waiting to pick my kid up), there's two people in a Micra going round and round the car park, over and over.  Realised it's a woman being taught how to park by her other half (no L plates!).  Too close to my car for comfort on more than one go, I'm moving it

Oops thought I was posting this in mk6 section  :embarrassed:  Mods feel free to move!

Added some nice plastic moulded sill trim protectors, as I was fed of of having to deal with scratches on both front sills from a trailing shoe etc. Got these from the web and they are from Richard Grant mouldings. There are not decals that stick on, but moulded plastic covers with 3m double sided tape underneath to hold them in place, and cover a big area of the sill to prevent further damage.

I've also changed the wiper blades today. I never really had the issues with the factory wiper blades that some complained about, but after 18 months, the original units were starting to just smear and not really wipe the screen any more so it was time for new units. A brand new set of Bosch aerotwins. Compared to the old units they are like chalk and cheese, and I should have done this many months ago when the old units started to fail. I can now see where I am going in the rain !
