Rebecca, you are constantly on the same page as me. Freaky. I was just about to post with a similar question. Perhaps he has not shut his door properly. Otherwise, he needs it adjusted.

Regarding my front doors, I am nearly there. Just need a little more TLC. I want both sides to look similarly hung. When a car is a touch wonky, it is quite a task. Just the passenger front door needs a tiny (less than 0.25mm) drop now and it will be perfect. Will be done on the 26th May when the car goes in to have a keyless immobiliser fitted.

Are we always on the same page?

I think it's most likely JB's door is not closed properly. Hope so.

Glad your door dilemma is heading towards a resolution.  Tbh, a 0.25mm difference would bug the hell out of me, once you've noticed it that's it.  On my mk6 one of vertical rubber window strips is a couple of millimetres short of the top and every day it's the first thing my eyes are drawn to.

That lovely shiny door just doesn't look closed to me.

I think that's what it is too, but given there have been one or two with this issue, just wondered.

Hi Rebecca. It is the driver's front door that needs the tiny drop. Can't multitask typing and watching Eurovision.

Hope your new R's doors don't have a hanging problem. I have yet to see a perfect Mk7.

I think that door is not properly closed. Hope so anyway.

Haha, I was just about to ask you if you actually know which of your doors is the wonky one, given your edit

They are both wonky but in different ways. Will never be perfect perfect but will be better than when car was fresh from the factory. Mk7 build is very variable IMO.
