Well i have a MK7 R so they only go around the four lights, its daytime so not a lot of use doing the pictures.

Changed the intensity of my DRL's and did the long brake light mod on my R.

Think this is my favourite VCDS tweak. The brake lights look broken when they don't light up with the rest of the cluster.

Changing the setting to 100% will retain their full intensity when they are on with headlights and sidelights which (as its dark or dull) is too bright and will dazzle other road users - try 50% instead. With this tweak the DRL's stay at 100% for normal daytime use with other lights off.

I don't get this, you are saying its only 100% when headlights etc are on but then say its 100% for normal use with other lights off ?

Sorry - that was a 'brain fart'... have revised my post. What I failed to explain was that increasing the setting from default 26% to 100% is too much as when they are on at the same time as headlights and side lights the intensity is to o great and will dazzle other people. I changed mine to 50% which works really well as they are 100% for normal daytime use but if you select sidelights (which are tiny LED's and pretty useless even in combination with the DRL's set to 26%) you get a strong light for dusk but will not be dazzling other people (and rear lights are on too).

Haha,  that now makes sense, I did try it last night and they did look v bright!,  may go and adjust now and see what I think.
