Never use a car wash or the £10 hand job. Get a detailer to spruce-up my car.
And just because you are a Mod on the Detailing Forum, I will visit it as I love you.
I said present company excepted
You will be welcomed with open arms, my love

Thank you. It will be a veritable pleasure to visit you in your domain.

That's why I'll never buy another blue car, birds think it's a pool of water and try and land on it and then s4it all over it.

Never had any problem with my Rising Blue Scirocco, it was my DBP MK5 that used to get shat on the most. Stay away from parking under telegraph poles, trees etc and i'm usually fine. Going around the Mother-in-law's, pretty much the only place I can park is under a telegraph pole. If we're there more than an hour it is almost a certainty the car will be shat on. Always come back to the car with a wet bit of kitchen roll to dab.

Maybe living 200 yards from the Tyne, the birds have a bigger target than a blue car.

The Tyne is blue, but you can't see it for the fog.

There are days when a fret comes in that i'm stood at the top of the bank of the Tyne at the end of our street, a mere 300 yards to South Shields, and I can't see 50 yards out.

For the first time ever I had my car sorted by a pro. I normally look after it myself but a recent injury means I can't for a while.

Really impressed with the results, machine polished and Swisswaxed, it looks like new.
Cost a few quid though......

Bought alligators, had them sent to the dealers to get fitted.  Did a bit more research, became concerned about possible dirt building up behind and causing whiteworm (think I read this on here somewhere), also saw a picture of them on the austins on an irish Facebook page.  Decided to get them sent back.  I think i've done the right thing?  I suppose in answer to the thread thats 'nothing then'.
