I'm a big fan of the old skool Impreza, reminds me of the good old days of Colin McCrae in a scooby, going sideways.
If I was going to have anything Japanese, it would be an Impreza.

Thats a really nice looking Impreza you have there. Impreza's are close to my heart and I miss mine everyday. I had a Impreza Sport for about 2 1/2 years and I modified it quite heavily:

She handled so brilliantly - like on rails and went so well for an N/A car. These are truly fantastic cars in the right hands.

ok so after deciding 3 or so years ago to put the car on classic insurance i decided i wanted something cheap but easy to maintain - so picked this up

totally standard 99 UK Turbo - 215bhp

then done a few bits n pieces just to make it a bit nicer
Prodrive Springs, KYB shocks, all top mounts replaced
Sti front splitter

So 215bhp was becoming a bit slow feeling. so over time picked up
Prodrive Performance Pack (ECU, Full Exhaust, Intercooler Y-Pipe)
Dump/recirc valve delete
Sport Cat Downpipe
Newage Intercooler setup (bigger & cooler :) )
braided brake hoses
solid droplinks all round
plus nice set  of Raceline RL-7 alloys to give it the true rally slag look

now sitting at 270bhp and makes a lovely driving daily hack!

very tidy!

picked up my first classic the other day as a cheap beater, tatty on the outside but its a wrx import with td05, fmic  walbro etc. being mapped asap aiming for 300bhp for under 2k including buying the car!
