hey, my engine is in bits getting tuned and cleaned. i had a nice amount of chrome on it before and am getting more done but just wanted a few opinions on what colour to paint the actual block.
i was always gonna go with silver, but not sure if that'll show off the chrome or not. as you can see in my sig i have a black golf and am going for a clean look. i didn't want to paint it black as i thought it might disappear too much, red would be a bit tacky, i have a blue vernier and will be adding samco blue hoses so that might be one way to go???
i'm thinking silver would be the best so it stands out the most, but looking at that guy's airride mk3 that he posted a link to, his gearbox looks pretty trick in gold, just made me think if there was a better colour i could go for.
any suggestions? :undecided:
engine was mostly black before with black gear box, silver head, chrome bits, and rusty sh!t!! there are a few pics in my gallery if anyones interested
