Could somebody pass on their knowledge in simple language for the numpty writing this message.

If I by a component set of speakers for the car, where do I put the crossovers and what is the impact on the wiring of the new speakers in the car?

i have my crossover taped to the doorcard if that helps. I dont think it matters where in the line the crossover goes though i seem to remember someone saying they need to be as close to the speaker end as possable. (within reasion of course)

the wireing is 1 in 2 out. ie.  from amp to crossover is 1 cable, out of crossover there is 2. one for the tweet and one for the mid driver.

hope that helps
