I had to get a new battery recently, my local garage had Varta (probably spelled that wrong) which matches the OEM spec, does what it needs to for £120.

Bosch S5 biggest one that will fit.

Varta is one of the oem makers.
https://www.varta-automotive.com/en-gb/battery-finder
Goto thier page and they will give you a recommendation for your car.
Then go to Tayna batterys and type in the varta code it will be much cheaper from them.
For example my Varta one for the mk6 normal GTI was

More or less same spec as the factory supplied Varta battery but much cheaper than motor factor when bought from Tayna ~£71
