Mine was done by E-Maps and it is brilliant. I've always used them and their reputation speaks for itself
Resulting transformation of the car is awesome, you can get to 60 in second gear for example, but in the wet you have to treat it with real respect
I have to say the XDS really comes into it's own with the extra power and torque.
In summary, a remapped GTI gives you the torque and flexibility of a turbo diesel, but with a seamlessly endless band of unerring power
You must tell your insurer, don't even think about not doing so.
