02a 1.8t ratio help........... rubjonny?

right ive got a late mk3 16v 02a box for my 1.8t mk2 (220bhp) are the ratios suitable, what will it be revving at when doing 70mph.

it currently does 70mph at 3800rpm on my early 020 box

First thing you will need to do is get the gearbox code off the bell housing on the box. Without this no-one can advise anything. once you have that, then you can have a look at this website : http://www.scirocco.org/ in the gears section to find the ratios of your box.

What's the code? There are a few other sites that have codes listed, can't remember offhand  but someone will have aa nose for you i'm sure.
