k jet tuned m8

That's a bit of a lost art as most places are only interested in plug n play laptop tuning.

I've spoken to various places regarding fettling my 16v mk2 but not used any of them as yet, so this is just people who are in Scotland and tune VW's/ general performance garages...

However, you may wish to try Bedrock Veedubs, I spoke to a guy called John who was enthusiatic and seemed to know what he was talking about re. reboring my 16v to 1.9 tuning etc. http://www.bedrockveedubs.com/

Spoken to bedrock Dubs then?

Only other option would be to get checking web and learning the dark art of tuning Kjet yourself, then they will all come to you for knowledge. Depends hpw bad you want the knowledge

Pressure test?

WUR mod?

Should always be game to have a go yourself, that's how I ended up porting my first throttle body

So you're game as fcuk

Go on.

As to tuning you're KR, beyond exhaust and filter. theres the WUR mod to increase top end fueling

ABF cams are said to give a broader torque curve...

Or

Spoke to a company called AGRA http://www.agra-eng.co.uk/

Who said they could reprofile my KR cams to 170bhp with a flatter torque curve for about 180.00. think that might be too good to be true.

Apparently the KR head flows pretty well but cams can make the most of it.

2ltr bottom end? Lightend fly wheel?

One other thing,  Have I seen you going about in Dundee a whhile back? Pretty unusual colour of mk1.

Hope it's of use to you.

There are few boys up here running around in mk1's one of which is a bluey purple.
And if I'm honest, was pretty rapid too

But in my defence I had a knackered clutch, and desperately needed a service...
