k jet tuned m8

That's a bit of a lost art as most places are only interested in plug n play laptop tuning.

I've spoken to various places regarding fettling my 16v mk2 but not used any of them as yet, so this is just people who are in Scotland and tune VW's/ general performance garages...

However, you may wish to try Bedrock Veedubs, I spoke to a guy called John who was enthusiatic and seemed to know what he was talking about re. reboring my 16v to 1.9 tuning etc. http://www.bedrockveedubs.com/

A mate of a mate owns this garage and spoke to him about engine conversion, was happy to take it on but reckoned it'd cost 700-1000 for labour alone witha supplied donor car. On the other hand he does always have a nice array of VW's parked outside...

Spoke to these guys but they said they now only tune post mk3 platform, but they do have a rolling road etc.

Haven't spoken to personally but the ecosse guys worked on my friends 205 gti few years back and that thing was a rapid road car...

Doubt they'd do K-jet, but no harm in knowing who they are...

Where abouts you based?

Bedrock Vdubs would probs be your best bet then. Like i said I have never had any work done with them but sounded knowledgable.
