tuning advice pls

i have a 1.8 20v gti and i want to put a k&n induction kit on, do you think it will make a difference?, also i have a stainless steel backbox, should i get it remapped?

Stock NA engines make the best gains with a cold air induction kit, you will see a few BHP between 5500-6800rpm.   Plus it will sound better  :smiley:

well,it will always sound good whenever you up or downshift plus you may get some added bhp muscle from it although not too much,you may also notice it will guzzle abit more.Also consider upgrading the turbo but make sure its inleague with your engine it may just suprise you.
