finally, we're ready to hook up the transmission. I just need to fit the driveshaftflange on both sides. :cool:

I've been doing some research on the orgine of my car...

every car is once sold new, this event was recorded in the book you get when buying the car.
The car was sold new in Austria by Porsche Austria...


By Porsche inter auto in Wien-liesing:


As you can see, chassisnumber and engine number, still numbersmatching...I blurred the numbers in photoshop.


I also found this in that book, at some point it has to go on the car:


I was thinking, if this car ever gets done, I should go pay the dealership a visit if it still exists. And it does, it should be an 1160km drive, should be cool to go to on the way to Worthersee:


This is what the dealership looks like in google earth, Porsche logo on the roof, vw logo above the door, very cool I think.

I would like to get a license plate holder from them with their name on it :laugh:
