Christ, they are pretty bad mate!!
Finished the base colour for my wheels, now the funkiness comes tomoz!!
Turned out really well! Few pits I've missed but not noticeable!
All the better when my landlord goes...

lol i know been getting worse ever since i got the car 10 months ago  :undecided:

But I wanted something subtle but funky!!

True True i ve been playing with the idea of having the faces black and the inners gunmetal or red or just all black, looking forward to seeing yours mate

The mrs made me stop when it went dark cos she didn't want me ruining it!
I have been known to keep going through the night when I'm onto something!! :D

Pretty nervous about doing mine, but just have to think that they can't be any worse than they are at the moment, so suppose I won't be at a loss even if I did have to take them to get done properly! Rather save myself some cash though :rolleyes:

Hi all,

Just as a note, once I had lacquered mine I was unsure about the best way to put a shine on the finished wheel as the lacquered finish was a bit rough and had a nice fine orange peel. I didn't want to wet sand the lacquer just in case it went wrong so I used a cutting compound to start with and finished off with a resin polish and the lacquer came up a treat, all the roughness completely gone, orange peel gone and left it with a very smooth shiney surface.

Once there on the car i'll post a picture, should be going on Friday once the new BBS centre caps arrive :)
