Wheel Refurbing Questions!

Christ, they are pretty bad mate!!
Finished the base colour for my wheels, now the funkiness comes tomoz!!
Turned out really well! Few pits I've missed but not noticeable!
All the better when my landlord goes...
"that's a nice wheel, is it new?"

Pretty nervous about doing mine, but just have to think that they can't be any worse than they are at the moment, so suppose I won't be at a loss even if I did have to take them to get done properly! Rather save myself some cash though

Hi all,

Just as a note, once I had lacquered mine I was unsure about the best way to put a shine on the finished wheel as the lacquered finish was a bit rough and had a nice fine orange peel. I didn't want to wet sand the lacquer just in case it went wrong so I used a cutting compound to start with and finished off with a resin polish and the lacquer came up a treat, all the roughness completely gone, orange peel gone and left it with a very smooth shiney surface.

Once there on the car i'll post a picture, should be going on Friday once the new BBS centre caps arrive
