I have just had a build week update from my contact at VW and nothing exciting to note on Golf MK8:

From build week 48 you will be able to specify a Black roof for the GTI clubsport.

Just hope they don't allow a Race Package option as that will be to close to Edition 45 spec for my liking....

If your car doesn’t have a confirmed build week you may be able to add it at that point….

Since the start of the year I say the Irish price list is showing the race pack as available from week 48 so clearly some changes in production then. It also implies you can get an Akro exhaust specced.

But odd as it takes away from the uniqueness of a special edition.

Now if only they allowed us to spec an alternative 18" wheel, the Motorsport or the Pretoria.

Hi Lee. Just to settle curiosity on the Polo form, does that new facelift Polo GTI come with the wet clutch or dry clutch  7 speed DSG box?
