Hi
Battery dead - replaced
Front wheel bearings
Wing mirror
Both rear brake calipers siezed
Now no sound from infotainment system
Tried restarts a thousand times, connected neg & pos battery leads [disconnected battery] to drain capacitors - no luck
took the main unit amp out in glove box to look at connections all seems ok
If i leave it overnight get in, i get sound,if i drive to supermarket for a bit of shopping, i get back in and no sound until day after when left in cold weather
then sometimes just out of the blue after say 4 days of no sound it will just come on randomly.
All auto sparkies want silly money just to switch on ignition.... then usual response is just replace everything.
the main display is fine - Sat nav , media, bluetooth, i can see phone calls coming in but no blooming sound on anything
the park pilot sound works but i think this may be on a different system.
Pulled out a few fuses... all in tact.
its model MIB MAIN-UNIT 5GO 035 020B - HARMAN
me hopes its just a connector somewhere. but feel it will cost almost 4 figures to find out unless some infotainment ninja on this forum can suggest something to get me driving around with my favourite play list banging out again.
No sound = dark cloud
Thanks for asking.... hope you noW don't regret it
