GTI new guy
« on: 08 August 2021, 10:21 »
Hi
Just a quick hello new to the GTI world had VAG cars all my life but did have a dodgy relationship with a Mondeo once seats were comfy leave it at that.
My love affair with the Golf GTI started many years ago with the pretty little MK1..first drive mates Mk 2 8V brand new well and truly hooked... Move on a few years lots of VW and Audi gems  to April 2021and finally took delivery of a Mk8 GTI Moonstone 19s and DCC.... Many years of family commitments and maybe next year's....but I can definitely say it was well worth the wait. Fingers crossed no issues so far... One little disappointment what's with the big hole in the tailgate no warning triangle don't mind but at least put a cover over it
Will try my best  to contribute something of intrest but I know I will definitely gain lots great forum so thanks in advance.
Jason

Welcome Jason
Don’t worry about contributing things of interest, I’ve been contributing disinterest for years and it’s worked just fine

Oh, speaking of interest, a photo or ten would be nice. I love moonstone.

DSG has its positives (laziness!  ) but a manual is still so satisfying to use. Fair play to you for sticking with one :afro:
