Topped up the ceramic coating with Gyeon CanCoat, unfortunately it was out of date and had a slight reaction, but it's only to do me until Easter so I can properly remove the old ceramic and lay down some Gyeon Syncro.

I regret not getting a metallic white silver or Oryx white gti, but then I look at the red like this and don't regret it

Stunning! love Red best GTI colour 😎👍

- Changed the oil (easiest oil change ever)
- fitted spacers front and rear (15mm front, 20mm rear - stock suspension)
- fitted new plates. Front plate looks so much better without the surround.

Car is sitting as it should’ve left from factory now IMHO with the spacers. Not the best picture cos it was dark when i took it but gives an idea!

Just about to do my oil change. Not looking forward to it - removing the full skid engine cover is a pain.

With the oil filter being top mounted an oil suction pump would seem to be the way to go.

Not sure that removes all the crudd from the sump though.

Drain plug or suction method?

Drain plug - kept it simple. Filled with just under 5.7L of castrol edge
