Right, another update...
After the all-types show it went a bit pear shaped for the rado. It all started wen leaving the show where I left a lot of splitter near one of the speed bumps
. Struggling to find a good replacement, a friend showed me that you can get a cupra splitter to fit if you're patient enough so put one on for the time being...
Then a few days after, the hoses started either bursting or splitting, they were rotten, when you squeezed them, they split so I had to replace the lot
Also replaced the ignition coil, HT leads, Dizzy, as there was a bit of a misfire.
Then the clutch slave cylinder packed up on me, the seal split but fortunately, this only happened as I got back on the drive after being out. Had to replace the cylinder and reverse bleed the system which I would recommend for everyone to do. So simple
Finally, I decided that the original power steering fluid reservoir was a bit too big so made a custom bracket in the shed
This allowed me to fit a reservoir from a Mk4 golf that I had lying around (
) to tidy things up

Engine bay now
Crankcase breather made from a pit bike air filter
And a closer look at the reservoir in it's new home.
That's it for now
