With regards to the Skoda funnel cap, is the cheapest place eBay to get one? Sorry if this has already been asked.

I think so, mine cost me £10.

Out of interest, when closed is it completely sealed ? Thanks

I'm not sure, sealed enough I would think. Maybe if you turned the car over some might leek out.

That would be the least of your worries though if you did that!  :grin:

The original screen wash bottle cap doesn’t seal - the Skoda cap is about the same in this respect, but the shape of the bottle and the lack of pressure means that a seal is not required.

If you look at post #13 (page 2) on the "Cheap Gti self isolation purchases list" you'll find a link to a Skoda dealers eBay page. 👍

That’s the only use my car’s getting just now. Since it was serviced at the beginning of February, it’s covered just over 600 miles, and of that 600 miles, only 90 - 100 miles covered since the start of lockdown :sad:.
