GTD Ordered

Ordered a Golf GTD today. The spec is as follows

3 door manual
Tornado Red
18" Charlestons
ACC
Xenons
RCD510 c/w DAB
Winter Pack

Delivery probably January/February

I got a wee bit of a discount and 3 year service plan thrown in

It's going to be a long wait

Oh hesitant will at least the snow will be gone by then :wink:

Maybe worth getting your name down on the list for a Bluetooth in the mk6 section?

Bluetooth is now standard Doc  :nerd:

Nice spec. Had my GTD just over 2 months now and really enjoying it. It'll be worth the wait!  :smiley:

I would highly recommend the Flat Tyre Indicator for £40 but you must tell them when you order as they say it can't be enabled afterwards but I probably can if the right ABS module is fitted. That was the best option that I had when I ordered mine for £35.

Quick question - does the 2012 GTD come with the LED rear lights as per the Golf R?

The one i looked at in the dealers earlier this week it had the lighter red LED ones rather than the dark red LED ones of the R.

IIRC the GTD now comes with leather seats and LED number plate lights as standard.

Like keith i would suggest you add TPMS as it is a handy thing to have for £40

Is there different verison of the ABS unit that do not allow retrofitting of the TPMS?

It should. Mine's a 2012 model and it's got LED rear lights, plus you get LED rear number plate lights as well.
