right quick update

Wing mirror covers now have there first couple of coats of Gloss Black, Grille is all flatted down ready for primer. Been that could recently that its been pointless even trying to finish them as i need a heater in the garage.

Instead though fitted a new Collant Temp Sender to see if that cured my poor MPG but unfortunatley after the roadtrip on sunday im still only getting 31 mpg on motorway. So this morning been down to TPS and got my new MAF and installed, think ive noticed a slight difference already but will find out for sure this saturday when i head down south to pick up my new wheels.

Also got a few other bits to keep me busy aswell thanks to Darkgti. Got a spare Rocker cover and inlet manifold that im going to machine polish. So engine bay will look swish when done.

well today my aero wipers turned up. genuine VW arms and wipers. Bargin for £28 i think

just quick update

went and spent the afternoon with the guys at R-Tech and had my new stronger actuator spring fitted. And now f**k ME!!! its really pulling well. got roughly 230bhp and 250 lb/ft torque. Would put more accurate figures up but i left me dyno print out there.

at one point the car was boosting to 25psi, so nick had to have a play around with the settings and now its running safe power.

next upgrades to increase the power will be bigger injectors and FMIC.

well, after being out of work for 4 months havent really had chance to do anything to the car apart from keep it clean.

Well now im back in work its time to start the modding again

recently got new SuperPro Front wishbone bushes, Adjustable drop links and start getting few bits together for big power, started off with getting a 3" MAF housing

MOT this week and hopefully next weekend will be buying Coilovers for the car and then a spare set of front wishbones that i can shot blast and work and paint up and then get bushes pressed in and fitted along with coilovers, adjustable drop links and new strut tops.

Over the next few months i plan to make big changes to the car, so keep watching

at long last the car is getting lowered, been wanting to do it for ages but just havent had the money.

Will be fitting FK Sport Coilovers, Adjustable Drop Links, New look wishbones with SuperPro Bushes, Strut Tops, bearings and new nuts and bolts

coilovers, wishbones, polybushes, adjustable drop links, new strut tops and bearings all now fitted. Car cleaned up.

So here's hows she's looking, think some fine tuning may be needed on the height just to get it level.
