Right then, anyone recommend / is a detailer in the reading / oxford area ?

after a few months tucked up in the garage, the old girl is looking shabby  :huh:

and it needs a good de swirling me thinks, maybe a clay,  :undecided:

So whose out there, what do you offer and how much  :shocked:

PS, this wont be til 2009, just planning out me finances  :wink:

You can't de-swirl it without claying it first. Unless you want really well polished tar spots!

This is true, though I would recomend you do clay before machine polishing. If a jobs worth doing etc......

I'm going to do some detailing with my mate when he gets back from SA in January, he only lives in Wally too Chuff  :laugh: He's a detailing freak and opening his own detailing business over there when he goes back after his birthday.

Oh and I'll ask him if he wants to detail another MK2

Won't you pick up contaminants on the rotary pad?  Surely thats a bad thing?

if your going to town and compounding to remove swirls etc then it will get lifted out anyway.
the pad wont lay it back down on the car.
