New VW Passat

I seem to remember there is a VW dealer on here? If so, question, sorry not Golf related, but my Dad wants to buy a new Passat and he has been quoted a 40 week wait.

I see there is a new Passat coming in end of 2023, that I believe is being built in a different factory, so I guess the lead times will be less?

Any idea of when the new model will launch, as we don't want to be stuck waiting for an old model, which could in theory be delivered after the new one is readily available.

You’re probably thinking of Lee Evans - forum name evo1986. Lee no longer works for VW; now works for a car leasing company, so he may still get information on car manufacturers’ forthcoming new models.
