2-tone mk2, CALLING PHOTOSHOP PRO'S
« on: 19 June 2006, 14:32 »
hi guys, im doing a two tone paint job on my Mk2, reason being all dents and rust are below swage line and gonna sort it. But dont want to respray whole car as paint is very good and not that old. So...
im respraying just the bottom half (swage line below handles downwards).

The tricky bit is choosing the colour to match the black top half????

A few suggestions are keep it ALL Black but with purple glitter?
or, black top half, silver bottom half?
or, black top half, cherry red bottom half?

need some more ideas of what will look cool and what would look pants!!! (no chavvy colours, want class)!!

So heres a side on photo..., i would be well chuffed if some1 could photoshop it a bit please as i have no knoledge of stuff like that!!!!

Cheers guys!

I think that black base coat and lacquer with the mica red metallic in it looks wicked, is that the car I think it is ? Or are you just using those photos but talking about another car ? Or am I just being a thick tw@t   :undecided:

Nah, thats the car your thinking of Grant. (this thread is really old!)
My old car (in the pics) is now in the scrapheap in the sky! Thanks to an old geezer infront of me, and an old geezer behind me! ...The car got squashed!
