Cheers Joe. I'm very happy with it. With family, wet weather and short days it took me 2 days to clean and seal the paint and get some sill and boot protectors on it. I've still got to do the glass, and it shows.

I suggest not putting anything on the windscreen. Unless you like squeaky / juddering / smearing wipers...

I put on VW boot lip and sill protectors. I'll take a photo and stick it up in the "what have you done to your Mk7 today" thread.

Hi all
My car has now arrived and is at the dealers still in it's wrapping.
Unfortunately I have decided not to take delivery until 30 November as I am between a house move and am staying with a relative in an area where the car would not last 5 minutes.
Anyway back to the issue.
I see that my car is sitting having done 45 miles. From memory I recall it is usually 6-10 miles.
Any thoughts anyone and what mileage did your new car have.
