the lights cost me £600, the adapters 260 Euros but i sold my old lights for £300...

Cool, if I order a facelift car I'll be going in the opposite direction I think as I prefer the style I have now.

A joke I assume? Why would you want to make a new model look older? The Mk7.5 lights look far better than all the block LEDs on the Mk7.

Actually, no I'm not. I prefer the headlights on the Mk7.5 but the rear lights on the Mk7

Had it detailed and ceramic coated today so really shiny now, dealer must have used sand paper when cleaning the amount of scratches on some of the panel.

Picked up the Clubsport today. Seems things have moved on a little since my Mark 5! Where I used to have to pay for an iPod dock, I now stand accused of having blue teeth, which apparently is nice!

Et voila! The wheels and the colour were spot on for me and it has Car Net App, sadly no bucket seats but I can live without them and I suspect VW would of added at least £1k to the price so I'm happy.

Mark 5 GTi was sold via the classified ads on here and will hopefully re-appear with her new owner soon.

I'm not really in to modifying and she seems quick enough! German plates (damn your posts Booth!), audi 12v dummy cover and replacement footrest are about as much as i think is needed. I've only had a chance for a quick wash following a 200 mile drive home, will try and get some sealer on it asap.

Took delivery of my DPB 3 door GTD today. Couldn't be happier with it and it looks so much better in person than any photos I've seen. I really like the Seville alloys too, they look great and the dynaudio system is top drawer and not even run in yet. Ill get some photos up later when I get a chance.
