Got the plate from dvla. Couldn't resist. Quite subtle, it takes a while for people to work it out!

I have a question:
- Re: keyless. When turning the car off pressing the stop/start button once cuts the engine off, but the radio remains on (I have discover nav). Pressing the button again just turns the ignition back on. I am having to manually press the off button on the discover nav to turn it off. Is it this meant to be or is there any way around it?

The car is fantastic and looking great really turning heads up in central London today. Shame it tipped it down this evening and got a horrible dirty bum bum

Ya it's the foam flexi one. I can't read the full part number but it ends in 160. I had the same type protector in my mk5 and it was still perfect when I sold the car. It is far better than the hard plastic version IMO. It grips items in the boot so they don't slide around. Only disadvantage is that it doesn't fit if the boot floor is at the lower setting. I'm not sure how much it is as I got it thrown in by the dealer as part of the deal.

The radio will turn off when you open the door.

Thanks, the seats are optional here. Cost about €700 iirc. They are very similar to the seats I had in my ed30.

Nice Pick, it's a lot classier than the standard cloth but you still keep the feel of a GTI!

I didn't even realise the spec sheets were different until yesterday, when I was caught looking in the window by the owner of a GTI down in Dublin
