Does anyone know if the gtd/gti come with tints and if so what % thanks

Tints in the front very subtle - about 90% transmission, rears are about 65% I think. Green tint for all windows.

Wouldn't surprise me if the front sides were at the legal limit of 25% tint and the screen at the legal limit of 20% tint.

Pretty much every manufacturer uses these as a guide on how much to tint by.

Well.... its finally arrived... only driven it 5 miles and cant take the smile off my face ...

Well I have 30 odd days yet before I pick up mine, but hoping its before the 16th Dec, as am back down to Angola working for 28 days rotation  ....so looks like the wife might get a whole month of the Gti to her self
I might even ask the dealer to keep the motor till am back, as he said tht he would give me a loan car till my Gti arrives. because he requires my BMW X1 for the trade in so he can secure the price for that month.....

All you need is some good country roads on a Sunday morning for a nice drive...all the best

Picked mine up yesterday (at last!). All I can say to those waiting to pick up is it's worth the wait!  What a car, I was intending to have a running in period but it's just too tempting to be heavy with the right foot. 

I won't post photos as I'm sure you've all seen enough Pure White GTI's (and my photography skills won't add any extra value!).

After 2 years happy ownership of the Storm Trooper, it is being replaced next week by a new beast.

GTD, 3dr, DSG, DBP, 19"s, leather. Can't wait for the arrival of Darth Vader!!

Picked mine up 2 weeks ago (5 dr black with only option being DCC - non PP) and so far really really chuffed.

Had a mk6 GTI for 6 months about 2 years ago, and this seems a big leap forward in terms of overall package. Really chuffed I went for the DCC. Comfort is great around town and Normal otherwise. Didnt realise the engine note gets louder in sport - quite good but a wee bit droney after a while. Biggest suprise so far is how FAST the car feels, the torque available giving it a very urgent feel if you ask me.

I have also have a 997 GT3 and the golf feels quicker at low-ish revs, such is the turbo goodness. But at the same time it doesn't have a laggy and on/off feel that some turbos have. 

Not a cheap car to buy outright but really good finance on PCP from VW made it a no brainer for me.

I cant normally be bothered washing cars myself but I am gonna give this car a quick was every 2 weeks as I think it looks fantastic in black. Sorry shoulda boshed some snaps up !

Hi am waiting on my Pure White Gti 5 door to arrive mid Dec, where did you deal with? Specys in Aberdeen? I dealt with Hawco peterhead and got a cracking deal, also a canceled order so haapy not to wait the 5-6 month wiating list.

yeah specialist cars. very good to deal with. can imagine u would get a sharper deal from hawco in phead though. was happy with specys as they agreed to take 2 cars from as a trade-in.

Aye got a nae bad deal from Hawco, they matched Aberdeen's price plus they are on my doorstep, just 15mins away.
Who did you deal with? and when did you order your car? Is there plenty room inthe back of the 5 door?

I keep checking that tracker, but the bloody thing wont move  .....I still havent seen any on the road as of yet!!
Sohoping things move along when am home from Angola in a 13 days time....

Some pictures of your 5 door would be great, as most of the Gti's are the 3 door spec
