Finally put the BBS back on after the refurb and new PS4S', it's nice having freshly ceramic coated alloys.

I asked them this when looking at second hand GTI's - they told me no price increase if there power increase is less than 25%

Perfect thank you! I assume most stage 1's would be over 25% on 7.5 PPs mind.

Yeah potentially, I was going off a GTI performance up to 300 as that's all the dealer could tell me, which was ~22.5%. Not sure how they'd ask for proof if they needed to? Seems the dynos at some tuners aren't always 100% accurate...

Replaced the fuel cap actuator after I broke it last night when it decided to not work after driving 10 miles on 0 range.

Looong overdue new rear discs and pads. Only hiccup was apparently some non-PP GTIs had 300mm rear discs (mine included) - from a relatively thorough Google most places say non PP is 272mm rears which is what I had bought. Maybe it's a mk7.5 change?

Out of interest do we know if the front and rear brake splash guards are independent of the hubs?

Can they be replaced easily (without having to remove the hubs first) as I know they are relatively thin sheet metal and soon rust around the lips.

From memory having just had the discs off, think they went all the way around the hub so presume it would need to come off first, but it was a separate piece.
