Wired up a dashcam, extra bluetooth handsfree kit, three phone chargers.  :nerd:
Scotchguarded interior, lined the boot and seat backs with automotive carpet.
Which dashcam did you go for?

You lined the Seat backs with automotive carpet? Can I ask why and for you to explain this one a bit to me, is it for sound proofing?

It was just to protect the original boot floor and seat backs from stuff that goes in and out of my car as I use it for work. I didn't go for a vw liner as I thought it would muffle the sub, but it's such a low volume unit it didnt matter in the end.

However, now I have put my own liner in I was able to get it so that the seat backs are covered even with the seats down. So that turned out better and it was only £20 for the roll from Amazon.  :laugh:

Swapped the front indicator bulbs for LED replacement ones for more of an instant on/off effect - it's the little things  :smiley:

I would show you a video but it's chucking it down outside!

Were they hard to fit? Which ones did you buy and any issues with bulb / CANbus warnings? :)

I did this on my Mk6 but found the connection to be a little unreliable..would tend to get random bulb out warnings as vibrations caused them to come loose!

What bulb size are we talking for the Mk7? Would certainly be very interested in this mod..

Good work!

They are H21W bulbs.  Easy to fit, on the back of the headlight clusters you just turn the circular access panel to reveal the connectors in the headlight and just turn the holder so it comes out.  Replace bulb and reverse process.  Takes 5 minutes, I did it in the pouring rain as the postman had delivered the bulbs whilst at work and I'm impatient!

These were the ones I got;
