Yup, never had an issue apart from one time when I got stopped for speeding. He just said they were illegal and get them changed, tried to tell him they weren't as they have the appropriate stamps etc. he wasn't having any of it.
Normally its the absence of the refelctive layer that renders pressed plates illegal rather than the font.

If they have the postcode of the manufacture with the BS number and the lettering/spacing are correct with reflective base....they are totally legal. We have had them on several cars over many years with no problems what so ever.

Thanks Graham, they are definitely on my to do list! I can't contain myself, i want remap/tuning box, exhaust, coil overs and spacers. So far anyway  :rolleyes: :rolleyes:

Wired up a dashcam, extra bluetooth handsfree kit, three phone chargers.  :nerd:
Scotchguarded interior, lined the boot and seat backs with automotive carpet.
