Ah awesome! Thanks dude! Im in no hurry, don't think I will get a chance to properly tackle all 4 at the same time till sometime in November, however I might give it a go on a spare wheel first so will just get the halfords stuff for quickness :)

How does wet and dry work? Is it better to use it wet? Or should you use it dry first then wet etc..?

Also I read that you shouldnt use wet on primer as primer absorbs moisture?

 Really silly questions lol sorry guys!

Told you i hadn't done this before.

When i wet sanded the final primer coat i had two containers with water in, one to wet the sandpaper and the other one the dip to rinse residue.

Because of the time i was wet sanding (early hours of the morning) I had all four wheels in the house (heating on) overnight so I would hazard an educated guess and say that this was sufficient to dry them out properly.

Making up for lost time

Awesome! Thanks dude, that is a pretty sweet write up! That metal filler stuff looks pretty cool, hope I can manage to pull this off  I was thinking about it earlier, and tbh they can't get any worse even if I do do a shoddy job of the paint, they're really piss poor when looking closely lol

Christ, they are pretty bad mate!!
Finished the base colour for my wheels, now the funkiness comes tomoz!!
Turned out really well! Few pits I've missed but not noticeable!
All the better when my landlord goes...
"that's a nice wheel, is it new?"
:D
